Padma Bridge project loan effectiveness deadline extended by one more month

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) have extended their loan effectiveness deadline for the Padma Bridge project by one more month, officials said yesterday.  ADB Country Director in Bangladesh Teresa Kho and Chief Representative of JICA in Dhaka Takao Toda met ERD senior Secretary Iqbal Mahmood at latter’s office in the city and informed him about the decision.
